We are living in unprecedented times. The world around us is changing and many people are filled with uncertainty and fear.
It is so good to know that our God doesn’t change and that He can be relied upon in every circumstance and season of life.
The psalmist was right when he declared:
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.” (Psalm 46:1–2)
Even though the earth be removed! The very thing that we assume will be under our feet supporting us—gone! Many of the things that people have assumed would always be there to support them have either vanished in recent months or become shaky at best.
Their jobs, the economy, government help, retirement plans, society as they knew it… none of it is impervious to crisis, but our God is!
The good news for us is that in times of trouble like these, our God is our refuge and strength and we need not fear. He is VERY present—not as a disinterested spectator, but as our help! You can trust in Him and He will take care of you.
I want you to know that I have been praying for you. I have been praying for your continued safety, provision, and peace. And I have been praying that God would use this time of global uncertainty to draw people to Himself.
While these are unprecedented times of crisis, they’re also unprecedented times to share the gospel. People are spiritually hungry and are beginning to think about eternal things like never before.
I believe that right now the Answers broadcast is positioned to be used by God to point people around the world to Jesus.
That’s why I’m asking you to help seize this opportunity to share our Refuge and Strength with a desperate world that’s ready to listen.
