Healing is God’s will.
Sickness and disease were never part of His original plan.
They are indirectly (and sometimes directly) the result of the enemy’s work.
As Bayless Conley explains: “Jesus treated sickness and disease as an enemy, and He healed the sick. He wasn’t working against God’s plan by doing so. Rather, He ‘went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him…’ That doesn’t mean there was demonic activity directly involved every time Jesus healed someone, but we do find on several occasions that there was.”
